Toad for Data Analysts 2.5 included: - ODBC support for a greater range of databases, including Informix and Ingres
- New Pivot and Chart functionality – You can now create pivots and charts directly from the query results screen, enabling you to change queries and view results without switching screens
- Automation enhancements - This feature now supports loops, conditional logic and variables, giving you the ability to create more flexible, powerful scripts
- FTP support - Your documentation can now be shared via FTP clients, which adds yet another option for knowledge sharing in your organization

Native Database Support | Toad for Data Analysts supports the following databases using the native provider: - SQL Server 2000 with SP3, 2005 with SP2, 2008
Note: SQL Server Compact Edition is not supported. - DB2 LUW 8.1.5 (or later), 9.1 or later
- Sybase ASE 12.5, 15.0.2 and 15.0.3
| ODBC Database Support | Toad for Data Analysts supports almost all databases that you can connect to using an ODBC 3.0 or later driver. Toad for Data Analysts Quality Assurance has tested the following databases using an ODBC 3.0 or later driver: - DB2 for i5/OS V5R4 and IBM i6.1 (limited testing)
- Informix Dynamic 10.00, 11.0 (limited testing)
- Ingres Community Edition 2006 R2 (limited testing)
- Netezza Data Warehouse Appliance 4.6
- Teradata V2R6.1 (limited testing)
